Keyword in Title: Only main keywords should be contained within your title. The shorter your title the more influence it will have in rank with Google.

Keyword Density: It is the percentage of the number of times the keyword or keyword phrases appear as compared to the number of words in a particular webpage. Try to mention each keyword in a natural way as you are writing
Bold or italicized keyword text: Bold is used as strong and italics are used as emphasis tags in the body copy of the blog posts. This will help the search engines like Yahoo which words/phrases should be given more weight.
Include Image Tags Properly: image tags is what describes an image to a search engine. It is smart to place keywords in these tags but be careful to not overdo it.
Anchor Text: Anchor text is the visible text within a hyperlink that you can click on that takes you to somewhere else.
Place Keywords in URL: The words you place in your URL are picked up by search engines. When creating a URL it is a good idea to include keywords.
Link Structure: By having an organized and structured navigation on your website your visitors will be able to go find their way easily around your site. This also helps search spiders add more links to follow.
In the end however, on page SEO is not as effective as off page SEO but it still smart to put some work into it. By having your site structured well both on and off, you are setting yourself up for success.
